OUR POLICIES

1.

All guests must adhere to all CDC recommended guidelines while staying as our guests.  Please be considerate of others, wear masks, stay 6 ft apart and wash hands frequently. 

2.

We do not allow drugs, alcohol, or weapons on our property.

3.

Office and phone hours have been reduced due to Covid 19 health and safety concerns. Best contact at this time is by email to info@santacruzhostel.org.

4.

Check-in is between 4pm – 10pm. Check-out is by 11am.  Contact us by email at info@santacruzhostel.org for questions and scheduling for arrivals. 

5.

Quiet hours are between 10pm – 8am. This is as a courtesy to our neighbors and each of our guests who may be between long days of travel.

6.

Cancellation policies vary depending on your booking.  Please contact us at info@santacruzhostel.org for details.

7.

Due to Covid 19 cleaning protocols, a cleaning fee is now mandatory on all reservations.

8.

All guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, or have a signed parent permission form.

9.

Guests may be accommodated for short or longer term stays as outlined in the Regional Covid guidelines.  Please email info@santacruzhostel.org for inquires with regard to length of stay.

10.

Due to the historic preservation of our cottages, pets can not be accommodated.  There is an exception for service animals as outlined by the ADA.  Emotional support animals are not able to be accommodated in keeping with the ADA recognized guidelines.

11.

All guests over 18 must show current government ID to check in to the Santa Cruz Hostel; all U.S. Citizens over 18 must show a current government issued ID that shows your current address– i.e. a Driver’s license or a state ID to check in.
